Blonde and Smart was born out of a passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and design. I started crocheting in my hometown in 2019, during the challenging times of COVID-19, as a way to stay connected with my creative side. In 2021, I moved to Copenhagen, where I took on an internship in marketing and product development at a furniture company, gaining invaluable experience in design and craftsmanship.

In 2022, I spent a year studying at a Højskole in Copenhagen, further developing my skills in design and handcrafting. That time helped shape my vision, pushing me to launch Blonde and Smart in the spring of 2023. What started with a few crochet pieces quickly evolved, thanks to the overwhelming support I received on TikTok and beyond.

Blonde and Smart is about bringing unique, handcrafted creations to life—ranging from crocheted pieces to my latest venture into brushed alpaca beanies, which became a hit during the winter of 2023. As a lifelong creative, I’m constantly exploring new avenues, and my journey has recently led me back to ceramics, a craft I cherished as a child.

I’m excited to continue this journey, sharing my love for design and handcraft with a growing community of like-minded people who value quality, creativity, and individuality.
